Day 30 – Rome to Fabriano

I leave my luggage at the Termini train station. There’s a long line and lots of confusion. I decide to use lockers in the future as there’s no need to wait in line and no grumpy baggage handlers.

I meet up with two other members of our tour and take off on the train to Fabriano. We pass the Tiber River,

agricultural plots along the way,

and towns that look magical from afar.

I enjoy the open landscapes after the density of Rome.

The Apennines in the distance.

I have a late dinner in Fabriano with the group of six who are taking our tour of paper and bookmaking sites. Tomorrow we start the tour.
