Day13 Perugia

Today looked rainy, so I took my umbrella out onto the square to see the midieval fountain, the Fontana Maggiore, that was built to celebrate the completion of an aqueduct in the early 1200s.

The fountain features sculptures showing midieval daily life throughout the year, along with zodiac signs and other allegorical symbols.  It gives a beautiful look into the life of the midieval times.
