The main square in Lima was filled with statues like this to promote people planting trees. However, since Peru is known for its potatoes, the trees are shaped like potatoes. It’s very funny.
Security guys are everywhere, mostly not doing much, which is a good thing.

This subway Lima is building will be underwater. For now, the water has been shunted into a side funnel which will be opened when the subway has been built.
