We ate our first dinner at a paladar called San Cristobal, located in an old section of Havana. The paladars started when people were allowed to open their homes to diners. Over time some of them have developed from serving home cooking into sophisticated eating establishments. The Paladar San Cristobal is located on a dark, imposing street in old Havana.
