This morning I decided to go to the Italian symposium which brought me to New York City in the first place. At the South Ferry plaza, these kids were handing out Quaker Oatmeal protein kits. I heard their team leader say something about homeless. I thought he had said not to give any to the many people without homes sitting in the plaza, but he had told them to GIVE THEM to the homeless people.
They gave me two kits because I took their photo and they took a photo of me taking their photo, so I had 2 kits to give away during the day. Plenty of opportunities. Nice kids.
