Day 6 – Moving Uptown, Cooper-Hewitt, the Guggenheim

I’ve moved from Broad Street in the financial district to way up in Washington Heights, north of Harlem. Many residents are from the Dominican Republic, as evidenced by this grocery store where the primary language is Spanish.

My place is on Sylvan Terrace, which was originally a carriage road to the Morris- Jumel Mansion up the street. The street is unique in all of NYC and was restored a while back by preservationists. A popular film location.
