Day1 – Washington DC

Our Airbnb flat near DuPont Circle is on a residential street lined with beautiful old buildings.

After a brief nap to recover from my red eye flight, I met Cheryl, and we headed for the textile museum at George Washington University. The weather was cold and rainy. Unfortunately, the museum closes on Mondays, but we had a walk through the University grounds, passing the Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis building and a statue of Washington on a bench.
