Day5 – Afternoon Gondar to Simien Mts

After the festival, we had breakfast back at the hotel, then visited the castles in Gondar.

These castles were built in the 17th century by a series of kings who had been influenced by the Portuguese. During World War II, the Italians used the castles as an administrative center. Unfortunately, British bombs destroyed some of the castle structure during the war.
