Determined, I tried again the next day, and with my fourth try, I got on the bus and headed to the villa.
On the 10 kilometer drive from Lucca’s city center, the bus passed an enormous paper factory and its tons of paper waste to be recycled into new paper. Due to its water sources, Lucca has been a center of paper production for centuries.
